Ladder safety:
TRI trains all team members on ladder safety and fall prevention. The basic formula our ladder safety training is 4:1 .
Work on elevated balcony areas:
It is TRI policy to have 100% tied off on balcony area’s were temporary handrails are not in place, or have been removed.
TRI implements the use of full body harness, D-ring anchor able plates, concrete set slip in anchor points, 5/8” and ¾” safety rope, lanyards, yo-yo lanyards, rope grabbers, double locking hooks. Each area is a case by case basis and the use of which safety system to use is made by the installation supervisor. Who is authorized to make safety evaluations
According to rules set forth in OSHA guidelines. In no case are TRI representatives to be on an open balcony without guardrails and without a harness and tied off to an OSHA approved tied off point if they are within 7’ of an open edge of a balcony higher than 6’. All TRI job site workers are trained how to use safety equipment if their task requires it.?
Storage of materials shall be approved by the GC.
Material storage shall be determine by the General contractor shall as not to damage materials or injure fellow co-workers. OSHA regulations will be followed according to the polices set out for material storage.
