TRI started out some 19 years ago in North Carolina. The founder worked as a welder in a large welding shop that had begun taking advantage of the new A.D.A laws that went into effect some years earlier requiring all public or commercial buildings to meet a new updated code for access for handicap or impaired patrons.
Working to better understand what the company was making Mr. Turner put hours into studying a new program named AutoCAD.
Eventually the shops foreman moved on and Mr. Turner was asked to take over the shop, which he ran for 3 years before deciding to go into installing the product he was designing and overseeing.
The first few years of business were slow, but then came the
Concord Mills Mall Project in Concord, NC. TRI Bid the job and won, putting TRI on the Map for misc. steel or architectural railings in the Charlotte area. Many calls came in afterward and TRI ahs since completed over 900 different Projects for TRI and fabricators all over the East coast.
